Nimbus Osborne (Ozzie) is a 2007 RPSI colt by Nimbus and out of Onyx, an approved Holsteiner mare. He was bred by Carbondale Farms, well known for their talented jumping horses. Ozzie's sire, Nimbus, is by the famous Abdullah, and his bloodlines are jumping royalty! Nimbus is a talented young RPSI stallion - Ozzie and his 1/2 sister were the first foals by this stallion, and both earned top marks at their RPSI inspection. Nimbus has just started competing in Jumpers on the A-circuit, and has the talent for Grand Prix. Ozzie was Silver Premium with very high marks for movement, in spite of not being very interested in showing off - he socialized with everyone instead. He is a friendly, easy-going, yet very athletic gelding.
Ozzie would be an outstanding hunter or jumper prospect, or even a dressage prospect. His canter is outstanding, and he has extra chrome for the show ring, with sabino markings and roaning in his flank. He will be quite tall - at 2 years, he stands just over 16 hands, and we expect him to mature to at least 16.3.
He ties, leads, loads, clips, picks up his feet, bathes; all the basic ground work has been done. Ozzie is currently priced at $7,500, and his price will increase as his training progresses.
