Evangeline (Evie) is a 2008 filly by Bente D, the exciting young imported Friesian stallion owned by Centaur Farms. Bente D is showing 3rd level in open dressage, and is a sporty, modern Friesian. Evie's dam is our Dutch Warmblood mare Lauren Van Graf (aka Jules) who is by the world famous Galoubet.
Both Evie's brothers are going under saddle now, and their owners report they are WONDERFUL, easy, trainable, bold, fun horses. Video of Evie can be viewed here.
Evie was a Red Preferred at her AWS inspection (video link here), and has lofty gaits and is a very pretty filly, with an elegant neck and head. She is bold and fun to work with, and leads, clips, bathes, loads, and ties. This talented young filly would do well in dressage, and shows some natural jumping form as well (no surprise with Galoubet in her close up lineage). She has a WONDERFUL walk and canter! She is currently priced at $7,000.
