Our mares are all carefully selected for performance bloodlines, good movement, and conformation of an athlete. They live out on pastures on our 100 acre ranch year around, so they and their foals develop properly.

| Our Warmblood and Friesian Mares |
Caterina (Caty) is a 2000 Friesian/Warmblood cross by Donius W and out of Windigo, a Canadian Warmblood mare with Werther lines. She is a BIG moving mare, with a kind, gentle nature. The other mares look to Caty as the herd leader. Caty's full sister is owned and shown by a well known S dressage judge on the East Coast.

| Cashmere de Leoness (Missy) is a 2000 Friesian mare (FHANA) by Wicher and out of the Ster mare, Metta. She is the sweetest mare, as the Wicher lines are known for excellent temperment, and her foals are all very gentle and people oriented. She also consistently adds a pretty head and lovely canter to her foals.

Whimsical is a 2001 Warmblood mare by Wolkenstein II and out of a Graf Gotthard Z mare. She is very athletic, with talent for both dressage and jumping. Whims has a bold, outgoing personality, and her offspring have all been very outgoing as well.

| Lauren Von Graf (Jules) is a Dutch Warmblood mare by Galoubet and out of a Graf Gotthard Z mare. She came to us after a show career, both as a Jumper and as a Junior's Dressage horse. She passes on a lovely walk and canter, and her foals are all very social and outgoing.

| Pinot Noir-R (aka Bria) is a Hanoverian mare by Prinz Gaylord and out of a Kalypso mare, bred locally at Rainbow Equus! She is a lovely, modern mare who had an extensive career on the A Jumping circuit and then showed Hunters.

| Belle Starr MO is a young Hanoverian mare by Bonheur and out of an imported Sao Paulo mare. She just joined our broodmare herd Summer 2010, and is in foal to Uthyr for a 2012 foal. This mare has wonderful performance bloodlines. Belle's sire is one of the few approved Brentano II sons in the US, and her dam's sire is by Sandro.

| Summer Dream is an imported RPSI mare on long term breeding lease to us. She is owned by Jumper trainer Brittany Haynie. This lovely mare is by Stendinger and out of the Trakehner mare Belle Rouge (Abisko). She was a hunter prior to joining us as a broodmare. She will be bred to Cadence in 2012.
