The national magazine, Horse Illustrated, featured Cadence and Mystic Oak Ranch in their February 2012 issue, article on American Warmbloods! They interviewed Michele in the first part of the article, then featured Cadence at the end of the article.

In December 2011, we learned that Pascal (Pesky) and Carmen were two of the top scoring AWS foals in the US! Pesky was top scoring 2011 colt and Carmen was 3rd highest scoring 2011 filly based on their inspection scores.

In December 2011, AWS awarded Cadence the 2011 Sire of the Year title! This award was made based on both his high scoring offspring and his successful performance career.

In October 2011, Uthyr showed at USDF Region 7 Championships. He placed 6th at First Level Open in a highly competitive class of top quality horses and riders! The 4th, 5th, and 6th place horses all scored 68%. The judges commented several times on the quality of the class.

In September 2011, Cadence and Heidi debuted at Grand Prix. In two shows, two rides, three different judges, Heidi received her Gold Medal and Cadence proved himself as a Grand Prix performer, with scores ranging from 61% to 65%!
