Caleidecope is a 2008 gelding by our FEI stallion, LSH Cadence In Color, and out of an APHA mare, RM Diamond Eclipse. We recently acquired Clyde, and he is offered for sale at a very reasonable price. He is a lovely boy with three nice gaits and a very willing work ethic. He is a stunning black and white pinto - he really catches the eye! He looks like he will be a late maturing gelding - his breeder said his dam grew late in life too. Clyde currently stands 15.2 hands, but he is leggy and growthy, and I expect he will mature to about 16 hands.
Clyde is very friendly - he enjoys being handled and loves people - always first at the gate, ready to come out. He has been started under saddle and is going walk, trot, and canter, and started over fences. We stated him this Fall, and he is lightly ridden 3 days weekly, and always comes out happy to work. He has been very sensible, and obviously wants to please. He recently started jumping and really likes it - he'd be wonderful Pony Club prospect, mid-level eventer or even a hunter! When jumping, he's very neat and tidy, with tight knees - really cute natural ability. He has very smooth gaits, so also a lovely equitation horse. He is quite confident when working out of the arena, even on unlevel ground - we've been working him in some of the big pastures, and he really enjoys it.
